Loading Templates

Loading an LRU from a User Template

1. From the LRU menu, select Add LRU from User Template.
2. Browse or search the template list by name, manufacturer, or model.
3. Click a template to select it.

The LRU is added to your drawing with all of its connectors and pins pre-configured.

tip

You can delete your own templates from this modal using the delete button next to each entry.

Loading a Block Template

1. Navigate to File → Import Block Template.
2. Browse or search the list of available block templates. Each entry includes a thumbnail preview.
3. Click a template to select it. The tool switches to placement mode.
4. Click on the canvas to place the block.

Pro Feature

Importing block templates requires a Pro subscription.

Adding Connectors & Pins from Templates

If you already have an LRU in your drawing and want to add a connector or pins from a known template:

Adding a Connector from Template

1. Right-click the LRU and choose Add Connector from Template (or use the connector menu).
2. Select the LRU type and connector.
3. Use Select All to add all pins for that connector, or pick individual pins.

Adding Pins from Template

1. Right-click a connector and choose Add Pin From Template.
2. Select the pins you want to add from the list. Pins that are already present in the connector are filtered out.
3. Click to confirm.

tip

Use the Select All option to quickly add every pin for a connector without selecting them one by one.
