Canvas Navigation
Zooming
- Ctrl+Scroll (Cmd+Scroll on Mac) — Zoom in and out on the canvas.
- Zoom buttons — Use the + and − buttons in the toolbar to zoom in or out incrementally. The reset button returns to the default zoom level.
Panning
- Middle mouse button — Click and drag with the middle mouse button to pan around the canvas.
- Alt+Click (Mac) — Hold Alt and click-drag as an alternative to the middle mouse button.
- Pan mode — Activate pan mode from the toolbar to pan with a regular left-click drag.
Snapping
Snap to Grid
Toggle Snap to Grid from the toolbar. When enabled, elements snap to the nearest grid point while dragging. The grid display turns on automatically when snap is enabled. You can hide the grid lines independently from the Page Settings menu without affecting snap behavior.
Grid spacing can be adjusted in Page Settings → Grid Increment.
Angle Snapping
When dragging a line annotation vertex, hold Shift to constrain the angle to 45-degree increments relative to the adjacent vertex.
